Description
A possible (it has not been experimented in a real model) solution for a large hooked roller bearing using plastic spacers # 38a as rollers.
Although the diameter of the roller's track is smaller than the one used in the original GRB, additional stability is obtained from the presence of hooking rollers above that constrain any tumbling tendency of the upper frame.
The concentricity of the upper frame is garanteed by 4 large toothed pinions meshing internally on the teeth of the large toothed quadrants.
A center clearence is provided to allow the passage for power cords or control cables that climb from the base to the upper turning frame.
