"Apollo project Lunar Module" by agual - 04/10/2024

Description
I made this model for the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing.
Details I could not reproduce with VM:
Astronaut arms were made from a tension spring #43 thru the breast angle bracket, ends attached to ladder rungs.
The nozzle was made of four B684 cupped triangles, VM does'nt have them so I used 6 smaller triangles. I did too a cheaper version with 5 221 triangles rolled.
Platform on top of the ladder was made from C887 plastic Evolution heli seat. VM version is not so bad...
The bent 2a strips for the fuel tank and the bottom front were B972 spring steel strips.
Be warned that VM has the double obtuse flanged plate as 51g, while in fact is 51e, and the true 51g (single flanged) is listed with A173.

Un beau modele, ton rover. J'ai eu des problèmes pour faire mon astronaute a l'echelle de mon LEM.
