Description
This remarkable clock is made with 99% standard Meccano parts. It is considered extremelly precise and reliable. In order to build, understand and adjust it, it is mandatory to read MP104. This is available from Howard Somerville MW publications. I drew this model following its instructions, intending to help those interested to build it, using simultaneously for this purpose, the Isomec Diagrams and booklet text of MP104. I used artifices to hold the weight and counterweight in the air since VM does not provide the necessary chain image file. The flexible pendulum suspension strip used on the drawing is the one available from VM, different in lenght and width, from the one recomended by the MP104 instructions. The dial face was also a variation from the one suggested by MP104, since, as a nom Meccano part, it did not exist on VM
