Description
This model was built & designed by the late Chris Beckett, who sadly died shortly before his 51st birthday, after a long illness.
Chris was an exceptionally talented Meccano model designer and builder, he was even allowed into the Advanced Meccano Constructors as a Junior Member at only 14 years old.
After Chris's passing, I was allowed by my long time Meccano friend, Sidney (Chris's father) to borrow the the Vintage Bus Model.
It took me over 12 months before I had completed the VirtualMec drawing, so here it is for you to enjoy, and hopefully Chris's talents will be relived, and not forgotten.
The model has now been placed back in it's original box and carefully restored.
If you would like to try and build it from the VirtualMec file, it should be able to be built from the contents of a No.7 Set from the 1949 period. Please let me know if you do build one.
Finally you can find the contents of a No.7 Set in the Parts Section, all parts not in that set are removed.
