Description
This cute dynamic model was presented on pg 238 of Meccano Magazine of May 1972. Originally it was built using the PDU motor. The motorcyclist's hands were fastened to the handle bar with pieces of cord. I drew this variation reading the original article and studying several pictures of people who assembled it in the past like Bob Thompson,Dave Burrell, Paul Dale,Brian Neale,Sid Beckett and others, available at the nzmeccano site. I have not built it yet, so that I suppose some adjustments will be necessary to be introduced in order to make it operational. Certainly it is an atractive and popular model.
Bob Thompson kindly added movement to this drawing using his expertise
