Description
This model can be built from Set 8 of the 1973 series.
The forks ride in a telescopic track. A short length of cord from the fork assembly passes over the pulley at the top of the inner track and is secured to the base of the outer track; a second cord secured to the base of the inner track passes over the pulley at the top of the outer track, then under the undercarriage pulleys before securing to the winding drum.
Another short length of cord passes over the 2" pulley and is tensioned by a short driving band to act as a brake on the track tilting linkage.
