"Tim Robinson's counter" by EDV - 02/04/2011
79.562 bytes - 329 parts
Description
Replicating Tim Robinson's model, like in a car odometer, this mechanism exhibits the number of turns counted up to 10,000 turns where the first drum on the right divides one turn in tenths of a turn.
In each drum one should glue a strip of paper where it is printed the 10 individual progressive digits covering exactly its external surface (not seen on the drawing) in a manner that it will exhibit one digit at a time on the expposed "window". The second up to the 5th drum from the right will move in a discrete way of one tenth of a turn representing repectivelly the units, the decades, the hundreds and the thousands of turns counted.
