I have tried to build this model using this drawing as instructions.

I met difficulties to put together its base since, in the actual model, specifically on the base, several assembly of parts shown here properly installed becomes warped at the time that bolts and nuts are tightened.
In case one builds one of the 4 faces of the base (up to the first platform level) and replicates it four times, the slanted corner angle brackets when fastened to the faces warps the the face in a manner that the square happed platform will not fit over it.
I am trying to substitute the corner angle brackets with pais of long strips connected by bent obtuse angle brackets to overcome the described problem.
I am stalled at this point since I left the assembly aside for 5 or more years waiting a future urge of inspiration to finish it.
