Description
this is the next stage of the wing assembly build, with the main box section made up of front and rear spars,spaced with girders and panelled in below. I've omitted the upper panel at the root end, for better visibility, although this is an important structural support panel.
I've added the wingtip assembly which contains all the parts actually used but not quite all bent the way they should be!
The sector plate inner flanges should be flattened to accomodate the flap mechanism, but the program wouldn't allow it.
The pylon attachments are shown, represented by bushwheels - they should be large axle bearing plates, not part of the current inventory.
The inclined slat tracks are installed, and it remains to be seen if I can get the slat support pins to engage with them correctly?
I have my doubts!
There are a few other minor descrepancies and misalignments, but they are not too important here.
Next, I'll attempt the nose assembly and the flap and slat assemblies. I also need to add the flap tracks and some fairing panels.
